Headteacher Message

Every child deserves an education that not only caters for academic needs, but nurtures the development of the whole child. The dedicated staff and governors at Broomhill First School aim to ensure that all our pupils receive the support they need to fulfil their potential, providing equal opportunities for all and valuing individuality.

We encourage good relationships between our children, promoting citizenship and developing important life skills, which we believe are also vital elements of education.

We are committed to working in partnership with parents, carers and the wider community to ensure that we provide the very best opportunities for our pupils.  We encourage parents and carers to take an active part in their children’s education and welcome their involvement in the life of our school.  We are lucky to have an enthusiastic Friends Committee who work hard to raise funds to enhance the resources and activities we are able to offer our pupils.

I hope you find the information on our website useful, whether you currently have a child at our school or are a prospective parent.  Please do not hesitate to get in touch with me if you require any further information or would like to arrange a visit to the school.  I would be very pleased to show you around.
