Seabirds - Year 3/4

Welcome to the Seabirds class page!
Our topic this half term is "The Rotten Romans".
Look at the newsletter for lots of our topic ideas.
For our art work this week we have designed our Roman shields. We then took our designs outside and recreated them on the yard with chalks. This has really helped us to understand the size that our shields need to be.
Jazmin and Jacey created an Easter treasure hunt with clues. We all loved it.
We have had so much fun today. We planted out our beans in the Kitchen garden this morning, we have rolled our Easter eggs on the field and we have all created an Easter garden.
For Red Nose Day the Seabirds had red equipment to play with at breaktime and lunchtime. They skipped, kicked and played together. Super fun!
Year 3 had a great time outdoors on Friday afternoon. They looked for signs of spring, created bird feeders and chased bubbles.
Our beans are growing!
We are all delighted!
We can now see the roots, shoots and even some leaves beginning to grow.
On Friday afternoon Year 4 had their first outdoor enrichment lesson. They had a great time playing team games with the parachute, exploring to look for signs of spring and creating bird feeders to hang in the trees. They had a great time.
As part of our topic on Europe we each chose a European country. We completed our own research and have created a poster about the country we chose.
Curl up with a book!
