Admissions

Admissions to our Nursery are organised directly by the school.  Application Forms can be downloaded below or are available from the school and can be submitted at any time after the birth of a child.  Children will usually be offered five morning sessions in the term following their third birthday.  The policy for allocation of places, including the criteria for admissions should the demand for places exceed the number of places available, can be requested by contacting the school.

Admissions to our Reception Class and to the rest of the school are co-ordinated by Northumberland County Council.  Details of how to apply and useful information on admissions can be found on the County Council’s website: www.northumberland.gov.uk/admissions.  The County’s School Admissions Team can also be contacted on 01670 534162.

Please note: the allocation of a Nursery place does not guarantee a Reception place and parents must still follow the County Council’s admissions process for Reception, even if their child already attends our Nursery.

30 hours FREE childcare Scheme

Every nursery child is entitled to 15 hours of education per week and we offer this in our morning nursery sessions (9am - 12 noon, Monday to Friday).

We also offer places for children to attend our school nursery for 30 hours per week.  This is offered as full day sessions (9am - 3pm, Monday - Friday).  These places are funded by the Government and are subject to some eligibility criteria for parents.
