Admissions to our Nursery are organised directly by the school.  Application Forms are available from the school and can be submitted at any time after the birth of a child.  Children will usually be offered five morning sessions no earlier than the term following their third birthday.  The policy for allocation of places, including the criteria for admissions should the demand for places exceed the number of places available, can be requested by contacting the school.

Admissions to our Reception Class and to the rest of the school are co-ordinated by Northumberland County Council.  Details of how to apply and useful information on admissions can be found on the County Council’s website:  The County’s School Admissions Team can also be contacted on 01670 534162.

Please note: the allocation of a Nursery place does not guarantee a Reception place and parents must still follow the County Council’s admissions process for Reception, even if their child already attends our Nursery.

30 hours FREE childcare Scheme
We have successfully been involved in the pilot scheme for the 30 hours free entitlement of Nursery places across Northumberland.  From September 2017 this becomes a nationwide scheme and we will be continuing to offer places for children to attend our school nursery for 30 hours per week.
Please check your eligibility for this entitlement using the document below.
